Butterfly Kisses

Butterfly Kisses.
That's what I call my blog candy!

I promised you some candy and I am here to deliver!
Lots of Halloween stuff here!
(See the postscript for a list of included items!)

Last year I pulled out all of the stops and gave away a ton of stamping stuff including a subscription to PaperCrafts magazine. I called this sketchy month long celebration leading up to my birthday The 31 days of Angelosity. It was a lot harder than I imagined to keep up with. And I wasn't sure if I should even attempt to do it again. That's where the poll comes in. I've already had several of you vote. But, I've decided to add a week to the poll and see if I can get more votes! Here's the deal.... if I can get 100 votes on my poll, I'll definitely attempt the celebration again! That means you have to get the word out. Tell your friends to come and vote.
In order to be included in the drawing, please leave a comment here persuading me to have the celebration again. Be sure to tell me if you plan to play.
(extra points later for this!)
If you've posted on your blog to send your readers here, let me know and I'll put your name in twice!
Drawing will be held next Friday morning after the poll closes!
Thanks for visiting!
Now VOTE!
~Angel

New Poll

I've got a new poll on my sidebar and I'd love to hear your thoughts. Last year I had a little bit of fun in the month leading up to my birthday....and I called it the 31 Days of Angelosity. Each day I offered a card sketch to those who wanted to participate and be entered in the drawing. I added prizes to a basket that I gave away at the end. It was a BIG prize and I also had other drawings along the way. Visit this link to see what it was all about.
So, what do you think? Should I bring it back this year? Take my poll and let me know your thoughts!
Thanks~

Day 30 ~ Sketch 30

It's bittersweet, isn't it? We're almost there! Only 2 more days!

For today's sketch I chose this one from Carla at Moralia's Weblog as my second place winner. Carla has some amazing creations on her site. Be sure to check it out.
When I first saw this sketch I envisioned a snowman card with a big snowflake brad or eyelet as my embellishment. Was I surprised to find out that I am seriously lacking in the snowman department! I even considered a paper piecing template for my snowman and went in search of one..... it just wasn't to be.
So, I looked through all of my stamps with this sketch in mind. Nope.... nothing. But I loved this sketch and wanted to use it. Lastly I went through my box of "Elements". I found some Bellas I had received in the mail from other stampers. I chose this
Veggiebella as my central image because I instantly remembered a friend of mine who is certainly in need of some sunshine. She taught me how to garden and even tilled for me and helped me plant about 16 tomato plants a few years ago. What a sweet friend. Now she is going through one of my worst nightmares as her husband battles cancer. Yes, she needs a lift and this card will be perfect. Now, to get it sent!!! (Just to clarify, I made two of this card.... one will go to the winner of the cards and the other to my friend.)

Card Recipe:
Stamps~ Veggiebella, Kindness jumbo wheel
Ink~ Black, So Saffron, Misc pads for watercoloring
Paper~ So Saffron, Rose Red, Whisper White, DP from SU Print Sampler
Accessories~ Blender Pens, ticket corner punch, White Souffle pen, Clear Stardust pen, punches- sun by Marvy, scalloped circle by Martha (Sponged edges), pop dots, computer generated sentiment

Only 2 days left til B- Day so I offer 2 adhesives. A roll of 1/8" Double-sided Tacky Tape and a Sakura Quickie Glue pen. Both are great adhesives!!
That's all for me for now! Only one more card to make for the last day!!
Have a good Monday, dear friends!

Day 29 ~ Sketch 29

Instead of rushing around in the morning to post before church or posting late after church, I am going to post my sketch early. And along with that comes the announcement of one of the winners of my sketch contest. The selection process was brutal. There were so many great sketches and I plan on trying them all over time. But I can only pick three winners for the last 3 days of the contest. Today I'm posting the 3rd place winner. Third place goes to Monica of Monica's Crafts. (I'll post the prizes on the final day.) Here is Monica's sketch:

My card:

I paper pieced the umbrella using one of the DPs in the Simply Scrappin' Kit "Creative License". The triangles are actually a square piece of another sheet of the collection cut in half. It's double-sided paper. I was also pleasantly surprised to see the card stock in the kits is textured. No wonder the prices went up dramatically in the kits. I water colored the image using a blender pen and my ink lids. Which was a little difficult as I only have the stampin' spot in Wild Wasabi. I haven't broke down and bought the pad yet. I will before they leave. (Lori, if you're reading this, please remind me! LOL) But for now, I simply pressed the spot into the lid of my Garden Green pad

Card Recipe:
Stamps~ Favorite Friends, Teeny Tinies
Ink~ Palette Black Noir, Wild Wasabi, Pumpkin, Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, Creamy Caramel, Sahara Sand, Pretty in Pink
Paper~ Blue Bayou, Pumpkin, Shimmery White, Soft Sky, DP from SU "Creative License" SS Kit
Accessories~ Blender Pen, Round Tab punch, MM Mini Brads, distresser, Sakura Clear Stardust pen

Day 28! We are almost there, ladies and maybe gentlemen! We have 4 days remaining!
Today's sketch is the last sketch I drew.
The rest are from you! This is going to be fun!!
On to the sketch....

I immediately thought of using my K & I Memories papers. I punched these trees out of the piece of paper. I've got to get more of this paper!

Paper: Green Galore, Real Red, Green Galore, Garden Green, Pixie Pink, Pink Passion, K&I Memories DPs

And today I add 4 Blades to the basket...a Heidi Swapp paper distresser, 2 Fiskars refill blades and a pair of decorative scissors.

That's all from me for now. Be sure to comment for a chance at winning the 31 cards! You have to comment on the daily posts the day they are posted. Which means you can have your name in the hat up to 31 times for a chance at the set of cards.
But you have to stamp to win the goods!
Good Luck!

Day 27~ Sketch 27 ~ ONLY 5 Days Left!

Two of you met the early bird challenge and get an extra entry for the 31 days of Stampin' Shtuff! Way to go Jayme and Cathy!

I truly didn't mean to give you THAT much time! My card gave me so much trouble that you can see I didn't even follow my sketch very well which was quite unintentional, I promise! And I didn't clean off my desk to take my picture. Hope you don't mind.

I got some Bella images from someone not that long ago. I feel bad, but it's been a while and I don't remember who sent them. Cruisabella was one of them and I thought it would be a fun image to play with today. I love playing with images I don't own. It's like borrowing a stamp from a friend! It brings me joy! And I don't own a Bella at all.
But, boy, was I challenged today! Where is my MOJO? I hope it comes back soon. I hope to get tomorrow's card made today too!

Card Recipe:

Stamps~ Cruisabella, Road Signs
Ink~Black, Cranberry, Basic Grey, Summer Sun
Paper~ PaperTrey White, Basic Grey, Cranberry, CTMH Polka Dot, American Crafts "Play" Collection DP (lime green layer and punched out arrows)
Accessories~ Blender Pens, Pop Dots, Circle punch, Word Window Punch (Computer generated sentiment) Fibers, Silver and Clear Gelly Roll Stardust Pens
I used something on this card that hasn't been on the market for quite a while now. I dug it out of my yard sale box!You might have spotted it here. And I didn't list it because I want someone to find it. IF you are the first person to find it, I will give you an extra entry into the treasure....YEP! I will! Comment quickly to be the first one. Only one person gets the entry!
ETA- Cathy discovered my Luscious Lime pad and emailed me with her guess. YEP.... I dug my Luscious Lime pad out of the yard sale box. See it in the picture? Guess I will be keeping it. Now I kinda wish I had a couple pieces of the cardstock. LOL

Today's addition to the plethora of happy stuff is 5
notebooks to alter: a mini composition notebook, a small tablet, a brown spiral bound notebook, a matchbook notebook (cute!) and a small Post-it notes. I was going to alter them, but thought you may want to do that yourself. These are so much fun to do.

Have a great day! HEY! It's Friday!

Today's Sketch- Another Early Bird Opportunity

Here is another early bird opportunity. I have not got the card made so you have a chance to get another entry by posting your card before mine!
Good Luck!

Day 26 in the 31 Days of Angelosity

I'm cheating today. I'm just going to let you know from the start, OK? Today's card was not made specifically for my month long blogabration. I made this card previously for another challenge. But, I still thought this "sketch" would make a great challenge! And since my back's been on the fritz.... it gave me a nice break!
Without further ado, today's sketch challenge is a circular card!
I admit this will be a bit of a challenge. I wonder how many of you will actually attempt it! Just to make things a little more interesting, everyone who tries this challenge and makes a new card (never posted on your blog previously) will get a card from me in the mail along with a few little bits and pieces (RAK). Just be sure to email me your address after you post your card.

My card is not new. I posted it here back in June. But, it's one of my favorite cards. It sparkles and it's definitely unique!

Day 25~Sketch 25 (Your Sketches Wanted!)

Good morning! It looks like Dawn, Tracy, Jayme and Cathy each got an extra entry for being early birds today! I'm slipping! Good thing we only have one week until my birthday! I always looked forward to Halloween as a kid because I knew my birthday was only one week later!! Of course, that meant I sometimes handed out my Halloween candy as my birthday treats, but not if I was able to eat it first! Hubby was not so lucky. His birthday is the day after Halloween so he gave away most of his candy to his class every year. Poor guy! Anyone else out there know what we're talking about?
Anyway, you've already seen today's sketch.
Nothing difficult about it.
I changed it up a bit for hubby's card.

But here is the card for the basket of cards. You like?
ETA- RIGHT IMAGE!
Card Recipe~
Stamps: Stamp of Authenticity, Birthday Greetings, Everyday Flexible Phrases, Sanded

Ink: Choc Chip, Blue Bayou, Soft Sky
Paper:Choc Chip, Blue Bayou, Whisper White, Soft Sky, Kraft, DP by My Mind's Eye
Accessories: MM Woven Labels, Screw head Brads, SU Round Tab Punch, Stapler, SU 3/4" Circle & 1 1/4 in circle punch, pop dot (under small circle), ivory Burlap Ribbon (Berwick)

Today I add 7 pens to the mother load. A set of small gel pens and 2 RSVP pens. I've added a small piece of DP inside the RSVP pens, but you can change that out. The pens are brand new.
What I love to do is personalize these pens and it's SO easy to do. Simply print the name out that you want to have inside and cut it out (I use these measurements: 1" x 3 1/4"). Stamp a background over in a light color, take the ink barrel out of the pen and curl the paper around it and slip inside. Give with a journal and you've got a great gift!

Just a reminder....today is the last day to turn in your sketches for up to 3 extra chances at the birthday basket! Every sketch entry (up to 3 per person) gets an extra entry to the basket. AND I will choose 3 winners to receive a small gift from me. I've taken a picture of one of the gifts! See this post for more details.

It's a mini organizer full of buttons! I plan on decorating it as well, but haven't gotten to it yet!
I've included Red, Yellow, Blue, Purple, Green and White/Clear. buttons If you'd rather have another color I can oblige!! This is one of the prizes. I will have 2 more to give away. Get your sketches to me today! Check out the comments in
this post for tips on how to make your sketch on your computer! Do you know what's in the basket so far? OH MY!

31 Shaped Eyelets
30 Decorative Brads

Day 24~Sketch 24 (8 Days Remain)

Good Morning! I can't believe we're already to Day 24! Wow... time flies. And I knew it would as soon as I started this project. And I've been so wrapped up in my project that I nearly forgot that hubby's birthday is 2 days away! Better go shopping! Any great guy gift ideas for a small budget? I guess you'll be seeing a masculine card for tomorrow's design! hehehe
I "accidentally" made today's card. I was actually working on Sketch 22 and not really paying close attention when I designed this card. I set it to the side and made another card after I realized my design needed a square and not a circle. Then when I saw my Sketch for today, I just moved my circle down a little and called it good. hehehe

My card is 6x3, but yours doesn't have to be!
Card Recipe:
Stamps~ So Very, Harlequin
Ink~ Blue Bayou, Soft Sky
Paper~ Kraft, Blue Bayou, Shimmery White, DP by My Mind's Eye
Accessories~ Prima, Pewter Brad by MM, Martha Stewart scalloped circle punch, SU circle punch, pop dot, Stampamajig
Today's addition is 8 pieces of Chipboard! I have 2 square coasters, 2 round coasters, 2 MM Cheeky Chipboard designs and 2 SU chipboard tags.
Don't forget to send me your sketches to be entered into the drawing for all of the 31 Days of Stampin' Treasure! I will choose 3 designs and so far only have 12! I'll be back later to show you the prizes for the 3 winners! They're good!
Are you having fun??? I am!
Have a great day!
I feel like stampin'!

Sketch 23 and a Challenge!

My thoughts on Day 23 in the 31 Days of Angelosity? Next time I think I'll do 2 weeks...LOL
I am a wee bit behind and don't have today's card, but I thought I'd still post today's sketch and be back with the card a little later! So here is Sketch #23!
And a challenge? Sure why not? If you can post your card for this sketch before I do, I'll give you a bonus entry into both the card drawing and the loot. (Be sure to come back and link to your card.) If you post a comment before I get back with my card, I will give you a bonus entry into the drawing for the cards! Are you feeling challenged? I am!! I'll be back soon!
Good thing I feel like stampin!

Day 22 ~ Sketch 22 of the 31 Days of Angelosity

I'm posting early so I won't be late like last Sunday!
But, you have to wait until tomorrow to see the countdown's treasure addition!

Here is your sketch:

It's really another easy sketch!!! I don't have a clue what took me so long to get my card the way I wanted it today! I set out to make a Hawaiian card so I could meet the other one of Tracy's Birthday challenges. I asked my hubby (he has great insight) to suggest a tropical color combination for me that wasn't typical. He came up with Cameo Coral, Bliss Blue and Barely Banana which I switched to So Saffron as I wanted it a bit darker.

Card Recipe:
Stamps~ Tropical Blossoms, Great Greetings
Ink~ Bliss Blue, Cameo Coral, So Saffron
Paper~ Bliss Blue, Cameo Coral, So Saffron, Vanilla
Accessories~ Twill, Signo White gel Pen, Paper Piercer, Cuttlebug Divine Swirl and Stitched square templates, blue flower brad

I'm off to make a gift. I'll share that with you tomorrow as well!
Have a great night!

ETA~ I changed the date and time stamp on this post to reflect today's date... the date of the actual Day 22 AND the time (now) that I added this pic:

Today I add to the pot Ten of my favorite things.
After all, it is all about me, right? Just kidding!

1. CHOCOLATE! Dark chocolate Dove's with raspberry filling to be exact! Yummo!
2. PaperTrey White cardstock! I love this stuff so I've added 5 precut and scored cards tied in vintage lace (a bonus!)
3. Spiced Chai- if you've never had it, you're in for a treat. My favorite hot drink anytime of the year and when I need something cold I drink a Chai smoothie!
4. Candles! I've added 3 different vanilla scents of tealights

5. Faith & Quotes- I have added a sheet of Christian sticker quotes
6. Butterfly punch- Butterflies are my fave and I love punches too. Here I am able to combine the two!
7. Lip Gloss- I love lip gloss! This particular one especially "Splash & Shine" goes on so soft and smooth and Triple Berry Ice is a treat.

8. Brads in one of my favorite color combos.... black and white goes with anything! I love these for flower centers!
9. Bling! Rhinestone accents

10. Sakura Clear Stardust Gelly Roll Pen
I had to stop somewhere! But I could have went on and on with my faves!!!
ENJOY!!!

Day 21 and Counting!

Good Morning! I'm finally here. My bed was so warm and cozy this morning that it was hard to get up out of it. I think that fall has arrived! It's finally crisp and cold in the mornings now.
Kevin and I worked at the Atlanta Motor Speedway last night. As long as my husband has been a die hard Nascar fan (17 years), we have never been to a Nascar track! So, it was exciting to see the track and watch the last 5 minutes of qualifying. However, we spent almost all of the 9 hours that we were there in the parking lot waving a bright orange flag. Oh, well.
I can't believe there are only 11 days left in my countdown! WOW! And today, I have a pretty girlie card to add to the pile of cards that one of you sweet commenters are going to win!
I started out with the sketch and a quote on my desk. Then I remembered the paper from the same company that matches my quote! That was when this card came together in a snap! Once again, there was no stamping on the card. Yikes.

I started my card with a quote because of Creativity Unbound's Spotlight on Sentiments Challenge. I love a challenge. I hope my card qualifies!
Card Recipe:
Stamps~ none
Ink~ no
Paper~ Pixie Pink, green (?), DP (quote too) by K&I Memories (Summer)
Accessories~ Hodgepodge hardware (SU), Flowers (some primas), ribbon by May Arts and Mike's, brads (?)
And here is the sketch that started it.

Katie made this sketch for me. I have had a few people ask how to take their drawings and make them a sketch on their computer that's more viewer friendly. Katie uses "Paint"- a basic program that came with our computer. Most everyone has "Paint", right? Ours is located under Accessories in All Programs. The Paint program wasn't as easy for me to use as my favorite graphic and print program of all time "Print Artist". By using basic shapes and lines, this program made making sketches a snap. I think most any program like this can help you make a sketch. But, I would like to hear from some of you who have created your own sketches.... how do you make them on your computer? Comment here on this post. If you give us a tip, I will add your name an extra time into the drawing for the cards!
NOW.... what are we adding to the overflowing basket of loot? We have 11 days left, so I thought 11 yards (or more) of ribbon might be fun to add. I've got lots of Stampin Up grosgrain and stitched ribbon and some narrow organdy as well as a few spools of this and that. I think you'll be pleased!

Again... if you don't have a clue what's going on, check out this post.
Otherwise, comment for the cards or get going on your sketches and/or cards. Don't forget to leave a comment on the day giving me a link back to it!
HAVE FUN!

Day 20 , Sketch 20 & Another Way to Win!

Good Morning! AND Yippeee! It's Friday AND Day 20! Can you believe I've been doing this for 20 days already? If you want time to fly, all you have to do is undertake a big project like this and zoom it's gone!
First off, I want to say thank you for your sweet and kind comments yesterday to me for my back. I hope I wasn't too whiny in my post yesterday. Chronic pain is the pits. A lot of you understood as you either have pain yourself or know someone who does. It seems to me that in our FAST society today, we tend to tolerate things to a point and them move on. We who have chronic pain feel like our pain should have left a long time ago and we sometimes feel like our friends and family are feeling the same thing. So, if I could just say one thing today it would be to have patience with those who have chronic pain. It can be depressing, for sure! That's all... I'll move on. {wink}
Yesterday, I did something way different than I have done so far in my challenge. I asked if I could "borrow" a sketch. I completely fell in love with Joslyn's blog yesterday when I discovered it. So, I emailed her and asked if I could borrow her card sketch from yesterday. And she agreed!! So, I sketched her adorable card. Another easy peasy sketch, friends!
THEN, I noticed that Tracy was having a little challenge of her own going on for her birthday. Who am I to not attend someone else's birthday blogabration? Apparently, Tracy loves all things Disney or Hawaiian. At first, I was going to make a Hawaiian card, but then I remembered the paint chips I had discovered at Home Depot with Mickey's silhouette! Ooohh... I couldn't wait to play with those!
Again, NO stamping on my card except for the Sanded background. I found the quote on the web and printed it out on my computer (forgot what font, sorry).
Card Recipe:
Stamps~ Sanded
Ink~ Green Galore
Paper~ Green Galore, Basic Black, Whisper White, DP from Paper Studio and SU
Accessories~ ribbon from SU and ?, computer generated quote, CM circle cutter, SU ticket corner punch
And today I add 12 Wire and Bead Items to the loot. (Well, these items worked together in my head!)
Included are a Wire Kit which has a spool of purple wire and 3 sizes of dowels for curling the wire (I made these when I was a demonstrator to give to my customers); a tube of multi-colored beads; 2 wine charms; a BIG paperclip; and 7 spiral clips.
AND now for my big announcement. I've been hinting from the beginning that there would be ONE more way you could get your name in the hat for the BIG box of goodies besides making cards using the sketches. Do you want to know what it is? The other way is to submit a SKETCH! Use your favorite printing program or PAINT on your computer and send me up to 3 sketches you've generated yourself. I will go through the sketches and pick my top 3. Those 3 winners will get a special blog surprise package from me. EVERYONE who plays will get their name into the draw for the big treasure... up to 3 times, once for each sketch. By submitting your sketch you are allowing me to use it on my blog as I will be using those 3 favorite sketches as three of my last few sketches in the Angelosity birthday countdown! Make sense? Time is limited though. You have until Thursday November 1st to send me your sketches. Please email them to me at angel2stamp @ yahoo dot com. Please send your sketch and not just a picture of a card. IF you want to send the sketch AND a picture of a card made with the sketch, that is fine. Please include your blog name or email address on your sketch.
HAVE FUN!!
I'm off to the races....

Day 19 of the 31 Days of the Angelosity Treasure!!

I didn't stamp yesterday. I couldn't. You don't want to hear my sob story, but let's just say I suffer from chronic pain... and stamping aggravates it. {sigh} BUT, I have this box of what I call "elements". These are projects that never got off the ground, stamped images, diecuts that I've already made, etc. And yesterday when I realized my pain was getting out of hand, I dug around in my elements and found this butterfly that I had already stamped and embossed. I pulled it out because it was perfect for this sketch.

I laid the butterfly on my desk along with the black and white scrap and the Pixie Pink and Pink Passion cardstock. (I wanted to use these 2 colors for the weekly challenge at Ribbons & Ink.) That was about all my back allowed for yesterday. I spent the rest of the day in bed. My hubby had to take our DD to the doctor and there was no grocery shopping done. Life goes on! But this morning, I was able to quickly put together my card for today's sketch since I already had everything together. {smile}

Card Recipe:
Stamps~ Autumn Leaves- Nature Stamps by Rhonna Farrer; Mixed Greetings
Ink~ Versamark, Palette Noir Black
Paper~ Pixie Pink, Pink Passion, Whisper White, DP: Imaginisce Black Tie Optional
Accessories~ Stampin Stuff EP (Disco Black), White Souffle Pen, paper piercing Tool, Cloud Scissors, Mike's Ribbon (Dashes, Dots and Checks)

And since we have 13 days until "B" Day I add 13 clips and hardware pieces to the growing box of shtuff! You really want to play!! Go back and do the sketches at any point. Make 5 of each if you want. That gives you 5 entries!! Each one must be different to qualify. OR do you just like the cards? Don't forget to come back and comment daily and these could be yours. Review the rules here.
Stomach is growling so I better go eat something!!!
Have a great day!!
Blessings~
Angel

ETA~ I just realized that my card does not exactly match my sketch... OOPS. You can do your card either way. Sorry!

The Countdown Continues ~ Day 18~Sketch 18

I'm getting excited. Real excited. We have 14 days left until my birthday. AND my counter recently went over 15,000! Normally I'd post blog candy at this point, but I already am giving away everything but the kitchen sink. hehehe (Speaking of Kitchen Sink, have you seen the new line of stamps from the company by that name? Check this review out!)
Anyway...
I posted that review yesterday in hopes that you all would start getting excited too. This basket is overflowing. I'm telling you.... it's going to cost a fortune to mail. You really should see the other half of the loot. WoW!
But, on to the day's sketch so I can get stamping on tomorrow's sketch!!
Here is my card. I made this specifically for a
holiday card challenge from Samm:

Card Recipe:
Stamps~ All Year Cheer 3, Sanded, Linen, Rose Leaves (Rubber Stampede)
Ink~ Choc Chip, Cappuccino Delight K Pad
Paper~ Confetti Cream, Close to Cocoa, Choc Chip, 2 Basic Grey "Mellow" DPs
Accessories~ Horizontal Slot Punch, SU Ruffled Choc Ribbon, Linen thread
I LOVE how it turned out! I used my new "Mellow" Basic Grey papers I was so fortunate to have won from the one and only Julia Stainton! I would love to have more of these papers. I love Basic Grey!
Here is the easy peasy sketch for today:
And today I add to the loot 14 Cellos in 3 different sizes. I've seen so many great treat and gift bags done with these cellos so I wanted to add an assortment to my birthday treasure box!
There are 2 large gusseted bags (5x3x11); 5 small flat bags (3x5); and 7 large flat (6x8).
That's all from me today. I've got some deadlines today and Katie has an appointment and then I have to go grocery shopping...bleh!
Hugs to You ALL!

Day 17 ~ Sketch 17

Don't you love paisleys? I do. My 16 year old daughter hates paisley. I think she just doesn't like them because I do. I really thought I would be one of those young, hip moms! But, nope! I remember telling my mom that her pants were "funky". And I think my daughter thinks the same thing sometimes about some of the things I wear! {sigh}There may always be a "generation gap".

But on to the post.... I bring up Paisley because that is what is going into the basket today! Fifteen paisleys! One paisley stamp by Inkadinkadoo, a package of 3 rhinestone paisleys and an assortment of eleven 6x6 sheets of paisley designer papers. (The pink one on top is flocked...SO purdy!)

If this is your first time here and you are wondering what's going on, please see this post.

Well, I guess since I am going backwards today, I better share the sketch!

Don't let the tree throw you! Your image can be anything you want it to be and you can have ANY colors you want, but remember if your card is Summer Sun, Bravo Burgundy (or baroque) and Pumpkin Pie I will give you an extra entry for the treasure!

And here is my card for Day 17.

Card Recipe:
Stamps~ Flowers of Gratitude, Floral background
Ink~ Palette Noir Black, Eggplant marker
Paper~ Eggplant Envy, Orchid Opulence, Basic Black, Naturals White
Accessories~ SU Watercolor pencils, OMS, Pewter hardware, black organdy ribbon (SU), Cutter Kit

I also made this card in blue with a sympathy sentiment for my niece.
Have fun with today's sketch! It is really very easy! Give it a shot! And don't forget to let me know about your card for this sketch in the comments on this post!
Have a FUN day!
