Day 19 of the 31 Days of the Angelosity Treasure!!

I didn't stamp yesterday. I couldn't. You don't want to hear my sob story, but let's just say I suffer from chronic pain... and stamping aggravates it. {sigh} BUT, I have this box of what I call "elements". These are projects that never got off the ground, stamped images, diecuts that I've already made, etc. And yesterday when I realized my pain was getting out of hand, I dug around in my elements and found this butterfly that I had already stamped and embossed. I pulled it out because it was perfect for this sketch.

I laid the butterfly on my desk along with the black and white scrap and the Pixie Pink and Pink Passion cardstock. (I wanted to use these 2 colors for the weekly challenge at Ribbons & Ink.) That was about all my back allowed for yesterday. I spent the rest of the day in bed. My hubby had to take our DD to the doctor and there was no grocery shopping done. Life goes on! But this morning, I was able to quickly put together my card for today's sketch since I already had everything together. {smile}

Card Recipe:
Stamps~ Autumn Leaves- Nature Stamps by Rhonna Farrer; Mixed Greetings
Ink~ Versamark, Palette Noir Black
Paper~ Pixie Pink, Pink Passion, Whisper White, DP: Imaginisce Black Tie Optional
Accessories~ Stampin Stuff EP (Disco Black), White Souffle Pen, paper piercing Tool, Cloud Scissors, Mike's Ribbon (Dashes, Dots and Checks)

And since we have 13 days until "B" Day I add 13 clips and hardware pieces to the growing box of shtuff! You really want to play!! Go back and do the sketches at any point. Make 5 of each if you want. That gives you 5 entries!! Each one must be different to qualify. OR do you just like the cards? Don't forget to come back and comment daily and these could be yours. Review the rules here.
Stomach is growling so I better go eat something!!!
Have a great day!!
Blessings~
Angel

ETA~ I just realized that my card does not exactly match my sketch... OOPS. You can do your card either way. Sorry!

Yeah! This one looks fun to do! I love the colors, too! The boys have Parent/Teacher conferences this morning, but I will start working as soon as I get home! The ideas are already flowing!!!

Oh goodness, I hope the pain goes away real soon!!! At least you had some things laying around to throw a card together. ;) I love the colors you used. I may have to pretty much do the same card you made... ;) ....whenever I get to 19. I'm still on 13....LOL

Oh my so sorry to hear you're in pain. Hopefully it subsides and goes away very, very soon, like asap.

What a trooper; you stayed dedicated to the FABULOUS stamp-down to your birthday amid pain. You are a strong woman (I'm humming the song "I am woman, hear me roar..." by Helen Reddy.

If all our cards are to exact duplicates of your sketches, I'm in trouble. I've started pulling my cards together (now need to post them so you can see them) and a few have my own 'tweaks'. For the most part they are the same but sometimes the stamp/ribbon/paper 'speaks' to me in such a way that it wants to be positioned a smidge differently. The cards would never have been made without your awesome inspiration so hopefully you will find them acceptable.

I'm wishing you a pain-free day!

So sorry to hear about your back pain. I, too, have to deal with chronic pain (SI joint) that gets in the way of what I want to do. Hope you are feeling better soon!

I really like the way you layered the bottom of your card, with the scallops and the ribbon...very cute :)

I like the way you did your card. I guess if you only had a little piece of ribbon you could do it like your sketch. Who ever said you have to use the sketches exactly like they are? :P

So sorry you're feeling poorly. Get some rest, I know that helps with my mom, she has FMS. The card is beautiful, as always!! You rock!

Very Pretty card. Sorry about your back. Hope you are feeling better. JoAnn B.

I have back pain, too, but not what I'd consider chronic. Any back pain is temporarily debilitating, so I can't imagine what you're going through. Continue to take care of yourself. The card is very pretty. You'd never know it was one pulled out of the reserve pile.

Hi Angel. . .I'm sorry to hear of your back problem. I've had chronic back problem since my 20s and it still bothers me from time to time. I bought a massage chair to help my back but it actually aggrevates it sometimes. I hope you feel better soon!

Thanks for the wonderful sketch! I made a card for today's sketch. I've decided to do a current one and an old one each day!

I'm so sorry to hear you had such a rough time yesterday. I hope you start feeling better really soon! You seem like such a trooper, I'd probably be complaining a lot more.
Another sketch I can't wait to try! I have a lot of work to do!

Hope you feel better soon! It didn't stop you from making another gorgeous card!

Does it matter if we are registered google user or blogger? I have been just saying "other" when I reply.

I'm sorry you are suffering - I know all to well how chronic pain effects our life and puts a kink in our plans. Your card and sketch are terrific, in spite of what you are going thru.
