BLACK Day! Bonus Entry Opportunity!

Yes, today is BLACK day. It is after all HALLOWEEN. It's also the day before my hubby's birthday and I've just finished his card.
Well, to be honest I am scheduling this post because Kevin has the day off and we are going to get our SC drivers licences and tags for the cars. I'm probably out and about as you read this.
Here is my masculine card AKA Kevin's birthday card.

We love our place here in SC. We have a salt lick out back and buy BIG bags of corn for the deer. I have yet to actually set my eyes on one, but we know they're here by the tracks out back and the disappearing corn. I wish that I had a deer stamp, but I don't. I did buy DD Pines before it was retired and have a moose. I decided it was close enough.
And the black addition to the ever-growing Pot 'o Gold!

Included in the Black Goods:
~2 Basic Black pre-scored cards
~A Black Monday Metal Frame
~A Pkg of Karen Foster Self Adhesive Black Twill
~A bag of Black Buttons
~1 yd of Black Satin Ribbon
~20 lovely bird images stamped in Palette Black Noir Ink
~ An assortment of Black Diecuts

~BONUS OPPORTUNITY~

We have one more week to go! I hope you've answered all the daily questions as that is the easiest way to be entered for all of the loot. And remember you can get up to 2 additional entries for posting projects based on the sketches. Those who uploaded their projects before me this week also got an "Early Bird" entry. Those have been the ways to get your name in the hat for the BIG Pot O' Gold!
Since we have one more week to go, I'd like to offer you an additional opportunity to be entered. If you post on your blog to spread the word about "The 18 Rainbow Days of Angelosity" and link back to THIS post, I'll put your name in the hat another time. Don't forget to comment on THIS post linking me to your post so that I will know.
Don't have a blog? Email your stamping/scrapping friends and BCC me. That works too!

Here is a picture of the basket SO FAR.
There are still 6 more days of additions to go!

Don't you want to win that? OR maybe you have enough stamping supplies? I'll gladly send this package anywhere in the US, APO or Canada. You tell me where.
That's all from me today!
See you in the AM!

GREY Day! Another ODBD Sneak Peek!

I really wanted to use the new ODBD "The Lord is my Shepherd" set for my card today. The main image is a mama sheep with her baby lamb and was just too large for my sketch. Then I saw this card that fellow ST member, Lorelie made cutting out the baby lamb. Perfect for my focal point.

This card is going in the mail today to a dear friend who's facing challenges that only God knows the outcome of. He is our shepherd and the picture of him gathering her in His arms and protecting her is exactly what I hope she visualizes.

On to our Pot o' Gold addition!

The 7 items being added are:

~2 pre-scored cards in SU Going Grey and Basic Grey (I love Basic Grey!)
~A bag of Grey Buttons
~3 large dark grey velvet blooms
~1 yd of grey organdy

~a BUNCH of grey punched circles and scalloped circles in many sizes
~various grey 6x6 background papers
~8 Cuttlebugged panels in Going Grey (4) and Basic Grey (4)

I finally took a picture of the goodies so far and will share that with you tomorrow. I promise!
I hope you're having fun!

Today's Challenge is a sketch. I am trying to make the sketches pretty simple so anybody can do them. And you don't have to make a card. Be creative!
I'll be back in a bit with my sample!

I am once again much later than I wanted to be with my sample for Today's Challenge! I had so many ideas going for these colors! Aren't they Christmassy? I found this sketch by browsing the gallery of SCS member jlazarski. She has some fabulous cards! I couldn't decide between my Houndstooth and Argyle Cuttlebug folders so I decided to make 2 cards and use them both!(Card recipes at the end of the post.)

Coral Day! And an ODBD Sneak Peek!

I am SO late with my card. Sorry about being so late, but I got started cleaning and just couldn't stop until I was done. I'm that way about a lot of things.
It gave you a little bit more guessing time though, right? Nobody guessed the right color. Can you believe it? Deb was close with Apricot, but I was looking to hear Coral. I'll have another opportunity to win those pins tomorrow.
Here is my card using today's sketch. My card uses a fabulous new set from Our Daily Bread Designs. The set is called Joy to the World and will be available to purchase on November 1st! It's a beauty!
(See card recipe at the end of the post for more details.)

What do you think of Coral? Hey... it was hard to come up with 18 colors! And it was even harder to come up with 7 Coral items for my basket.
But here you go:

~3 pre-scored Cameo Coral Cards
~1 small vial of Coral Crystals Glitter
~1 yd of Coral Grosgrain Ribbon
~1 bag of Coral Buttons

Good Morning and welcome to the halfway point of the 18 Rainbow Days of Angelosity! I'll be back later with a picture of all of the loot so far. It's quite a lot and we're only half way there!
Today I have a sketch for you. It's a square card, but you can make it into a traditional sized card or even use it for a scrapbook page if you like!
Remember, if you post your project before me you'll get an Early Bird bonus entry!
Also... nobody has guessed today's color correctly although it has gotten close. Since we're down to a couple of hours, I'll let you have a second guess if you've already guessed. (Go back to that post to guess again.)Comment Moderation was on and that kind of messed up things a little since you couldn't see all of the guesses so far. I've taken it off just for today.
Have a blessed day!
~Angel
Today's Question:
Continuing to get to know you better-
Tell me where you grew up and something unusual or unique about that town!

PINK Day! ( And a Bonus Drawing)

I have quite a bit to do today. That's why our project is a simple bookmark. I've got a sketch for you at least every other day, but on the even days we'll probably do something a little different. What do you think so far?
Back when the boys were seniors, I made bookmarks for them with my Tassel Time set. Katie reminded me of that and pointed out her school colors as well. I pulled out Tassel Time today and set about to recreate the bookmark. Nothing too difficult, but here it is:

It's a magnetic bookmark...my favorite kind. There are magnets on either side of the inside of this bookmark so you just need to slip it over a couple of pages to mark your spot. The magnets hold it in place.

Recipe at the end of today's post!

Today is pink day. I just love pink. It used to be my favorite color and then came Soft Sky and I am so hooked on that color. I changed the background color on my blog just for today since pink wouldn't show up very well on pink.
I didn't have much of a problem gathering 7 Pink things to put in the Pot O' Gold!

Your Pink addition includes:

~9 Pre-scored cards in shades of pink- SU Positively Pink, Pixie Pink, Blush Blossom, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Rose Romance and Pink Passion and PTI Sweet Blush and Berry Sorbet.
~A small vial of Pink Flock
~A bag of pink buttons
~1 yd of Pink Ribbon and a length of white/pink Stitched trim
~A Fiskars Pink Paper Trimmer w/ Bonus Pink Ribbon Pin
~~CK Decorative Printed Tape (pink, red and white)
~A little pink purse with many pink Ovals and Scalloped Ovals inside (a few shown)
{This little purse is the perfect size to hold a set of cards by the way!}
Isn't Pink so pretty?

***Now, how about a bonus drawing?
These cute little Trinket Pins are SO fun.

The first person to guess tomorrow's pre-determined "Color of the Day" will get these pins in their mailbox! (Mailed on Friday.)
I'll announce the winner with the Color- tomorrow somewhere around noon! (remember the first person to answer correctly wins so try to think of a different color than the previous person. This should be interesting!)
Have a blessed day!

Day 8

I don't know about you, but I feel like I got a lot accomplished this weekend. Unfortunately the accomplishment was in my stamp room and came at the expense of the rest of my house. Now I'll have to play catch up on my chores and cleaning!
Oh well.

There is still a little more time for weekend entries to be posted for the RAK. I've got several more RAKs to give away this week, so I hope you'll stick around for another full week of Rainbow Days. Of course, we're running out of pretty colors, but there are still lots of colors!
This week, I've decided to add another way to be entered. As you know, I try to post my challenge first thing in the morning and then my project and prize photos by noon. For those of you on the ball...if you post your project(s) for the day's challenge before I post mine you'll get an extra entry for the pot o' gold. Sound good?
Today's challenge is a BOOKMARK.
Make a bookmark for yourself or for a friend. No color or size restrictions. Katie keeps reminding me I promised to make her a bookmark so I am determined to do it today.
That's all from me!

BLUE Day & Bonus Drawing #6

This scrap challenge had me sorting through my DP scraps this morning and that is a very good thing. I pulled out all of the dark red and mossy green scraps and punched a bunch of different sized circles. Perfect for a Christmas card, so I stamped the Jesus is the Reason for the Season sentiment from the same named ODBD set and cut it out with my oval cutter. I made 2 Christmas cards, but there is definitely enough circles left for a couple more. Two easy Christmas cards for you to add to your stash. I gathered up the supplies and would love to send them to you. Sounds like another BONUS drawing to me!
I'm hoping many of you will want to play along with the challenges this weekend. Remember you can make 2 projects of any challenge. With that in mind, the person who completes the most entries this weekend will be sent this RAK. You have until Monday morning at 9:00 am EST.

It's Blue day and I've got a lot of cool blue stuff to share.

~A Bag of Blue Buttons
~Blue Ribbons by Express Yourself DIY
~Blue Embroidery Floss (perfect for threading through button holes!)

Day 6

It's Day 6 of the Rainbow Days of Angelosity! I nearly took the weekends off when I was planning the Blogabration. I like to save those days for spending family time since everyone is home. Instead, I'm going to make this short and sweet.
Today's Challenge is to use your scraps!
Again, you don't have to make a card. You possibilities are endless, just make sure you use up those scraps of cardstock or designer paper!
Please refer to earlier posts for all the rules!
See you soon!

Turquoise & Teal Day (AND Another Bonus Prize!)

Are you having as much fun as me?
Even though it's a lot of work and lots of emails to sort through, I love hosting my Days of Angelosity!
Today is Turquoise and Teal Day. I've got goodies to add to that basket, but first..my card.

I absolutely love this sketch today. I received a card in the mail from a friend of mine that used this sketch. That card is displayed in my stamp room because I liked it so much.
Today I used the
ODBD set "Flourished Christian Symbols". It's a great go-to set, especially if you serve in the ministry! Check it out!

My card uses the cross in the set. I made it super sparkly with some Heat and Stick powder and Coral Crystal Glitter. The scalloped circle is punched from DP that is glittered as well. This card just sparkles!

Now for the goods! Included in your addition to the Pot of Gold:

~Eight Pre-scored cards in shades of teal and turquoise:

~A Key chain Photo Book in Turquoise Plaid
~One yard of Turquoise Flowered Ric Rac and a length of Turquoise velvet trim
and

I was a little punch happy when I was making my card this morning. I went through my scrap box and punched a lot of Scalloped Ovals before I decided on the right one to use on my card. In fact I punched 40!
Remember when I said that participants get some extra chances? Here is the 1st drawing of JUST the challenge participants. What will you get.... well, all of those scalloped ovals of course! I am going to give you a little extra time before I draw a winner. I leave for the post office at 3:00 today. So, I'm drawing a winner at 2:30 in hopes I can have an address and get these ovals sent today! Go back and complete any or all of the 5 challenges posted so far to get your name in the hat. If you already have played, your name is already there!

If you're just now arriving at my blog and wondering what's going on.. well, we're having a birthday party. We're counting down the days until my birthday on November 7. This year I'm offering a pot of gold at the end of the Rainbow and inviting all of my friends to play! (That's you!)

Green Day!

By the way, if you aren't a very GREEN person but wish you were tell me something you COULD do in that last daily question. I mainly asked it because
It's GREEN Day!
Are you following the RAINBOW to the treasure at the end?
I hope so!
It's never too late to go back and make up for lost time, but if you play along, you'll definitely increase your chances!
First things first.
My Christmas Challenge was mainly because I had a half finished Christmas card laying on my desk begging to be finished. I completed the card which I started out using
Beate's Weekend Sketch WSC62. I used one of my favorite Christmas ODBD sets "We Three Kings".
If you haven't seen cards with this set around Blogland, check out these beauties!
Dina
Becca
Judy

Nancy
You want that set now, huh?
Here is my card.

Pretty easy to do and the copper and Artichoke look so handsome together. I think I may use this masculine combination again some day!

Now for your GREEN goodies! Do you have any idea how many shades of green cardstock I have? Hmm... this sounds like a good BONUS question! I know, I know, I can't stop giving things away. Since I am making a trip to the post office tomorrow, I might as well send one more envelope! Give me your best guess on how many shades of green cardstock I own and you'll get your own little mini GREEN RAK! It will look like a smaller version of THIS:

Included in today's addition to the "Pot O' Gold"
