"Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not on your own understanding. In every way, acknowledge Him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6

That's my favorite of all time. No matter the circumstances, it fits.

Can't wait to make today's card!! (as well as yesterdays!)

This verse gives me such peace:

"In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you." John 14:2

1 Peter 3
Wives and Husbands
1Wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, 2when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. 3Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. 4Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. 5For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful. They were submissive to their own husbands, 6like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her master. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.

"Home is, where the heart is". That one is so true. Can't say it's my favorite since it changes from time to time and according to my moods. But that is one of them.

I've been two days saying I'll do something for your challenges and haven't yet. I do hope to be able to play during the weekend.

The one that always lifts me up no matter what I'm facing is from Jeremiah 29:11:
‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.’

Love is patient, love is kind,
Love does not insist on its own way.
Love bears all things, believes all things,
Hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails.

It's a bit tough for me to pick just one quote, but I do love this one from AA Milne:

"What would I do?" I said to Pooh. And Pooh said, "True, it isn't much fun for one, but two can stick together."

Gosh, love all the scriptures refenced above. It is hard to pick just one. Of course John 3:16 is a favorite, but another one is Isaiah 40:31 - "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings of eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

Love this one... course it doesn't hurt that the Byrds
put it to music! ^o^

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. ~Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

My Favorite Scripture is: John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Here is a quote I like:

If God be our God, He will give us peace in trouble. When there is a storm without, He will make peace within. The world can create trouble in peace, but God can create peace in trouble.
