We're in Double Digits... Day 10!

I found a dress! It's an amazing silver floor length gown. I would SO post a picture for you, but I left it there. I found it at Dillard's on the clearance rack and there was about a one inch area just below the zipper where the seam was out. Dillard's has a seamstress, so they are fixing it for me (free)! I paid a whopping $30 for a formal gown! Yes, I did! Today was Katie's first day back to school after a week long fall break. But after school she and I will go find silver shoes and a purse. Now what to do with my hair. Hmmmm...

Today's sketch is too easy. I may be making up for it with tomorrow's sketch (another from hubby). I like it. The piercing is optional as I know not everyone may have the tools to achieve it! Here is my card:

Card Recipe: Card size is 4 1/4" Square
Stamps- Short & Sweet
Ink- Vintage Violet, Lovely Lilac, Going Grey, Bashful Blue, Almost Amethyst
Paper- Almost Amethyst, Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Accessories- 2 way glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds glitter, staples, Paper Piercing template and tool

And today I am adding 22 flowers, an assortment of primas, felt flowers and others.

Here is what we have so far:
31 Shaped Eyelets
30 Decorative Brads
29 Envelopes
28 Colorful Buttons
27 Glittery Chipboard Letters
26 Eyelets
25 Punches and Die cuts
24 Quotes
23 White and Clear Buttons
and
22 Flowers

All of the rules are here.
To win the alternate prize of 31 cards and envelopes, just comment daily on the day's post.

Have fun with the sketch and remember, you can make as many as you like, whenever you like. Don't forget to comment and give me a link to your card so I can count it!
Have a FUN day!

~Angel

WAHOO on the AWESOME dress purchase. I'm a major 'thrift' and am happy when others find great deals such as yours. FREE alterations makes it even better.

The part I'm starting to love about your birthday countdown, other than the obvious FABULOUS sketches and ideas and chance to win INCREDIBLE prizes, is that I feel like I'm having a daily 'chat' with you. I've never met or really spoken to you but I've been reading your blog for several months now. I think all crafters share a natural bond at heart!

Here's my take on this one. I altered it a bit and combined the image/sentiment panel because of the paper I used. Thanks!

Hey Angel!

This sketch was a challenging one for me because I tend to put a lot of stuff on my card and it was hard to keep my card simple.

Here is my card for this sketch:

http://stampininspirations.blogspot.com/2007/11/more-cards-for-angels-angelosity-blog.html

It's card #3.

Just to let you know cards for sketch #10, 12, and 14 are one post.
