Day 11 ~ Sketch 11 ~ Multitasking

I love to multitask. For instance, right at this moment I am boiling eggs as well as getting my post ready for today. And speaking of today's post, I totally multi-tasked here. I used yesterday's Splitcoast Color Challenge which was anything Pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Not only that, I set out to use sparklies so I could enter my card in Kimmie's Pink Cat Studio Contest!

I couldn't wait to do this sketch. As you may have realized, I am really loving the look of holes in my card. But, don't let the fact that you don't have a paper piercing tool stop you! Make your dots with a marker or white gel pen... or simply use a needle.

Here is the card~
Card Recipe~
Stamps
~ Priceless
Ink~ Pomegranate, Pretty in Pink
Paper~ Pomegranate, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White
Accessories~ Prima, Rhinestone Brad, Paper Mania Designer brad, Stickles, adhesive rhinestones, blender pen (for pomegranate marker)

Today I add 21 sheets of 6x6 Basic Grey Designer Papers to the quickly growing box of treasure! Many of these are double-sided. I love Basic Grey so it wasn't hard to come up with 21 pieces!
So what exactly is in that box so far?
Here is your list:
31 Shaped Eyelets
30 Decorative Brads
29 Envelopes
28 Colorful Buttons
27 Glittery Chipboard Letters
26 Eyelets
25 Punches and Die cuts
24 Quotes
23 White and Clear Buttons
22 Flowers
and
21 pieces of Basic Grey DP (6x6)

If you are new here, we're counting down to my birtdhay (Nov 7). You can find all of the rules here.
You can also win the 31 cards (and envelopes) I make this month by simply commenting on each days post (on the day of posting).
ATTENTION~If you look at the right side column, you'll see I have added a new poll. Vote in the poll and let me know you did in your comment ON THIS POST and I will put your name in a drawing for 21 different sheets of 6x6 DP by My Mind's Eye. (my favorite!) I am feeling good so I may add more goodies as well! I'll draw on Friday (10/19) so don't delay.
I've got a few drawings like this planned throughout the month so stick around OR subscribe.
Have fun with the sketch. I'll be back later!
Blessings~
Angel

Another beautiful card and FABULOUS addition to the prize box. I LOVE Basic Grey papers. Now I REALLY have to get busy making cards for your challenge. I'm preparing for a family get together this weekend (translate - cleaning my house like crazy). After they leave I'll need a day making cards and I have quite a stack to make. It will be easy since you did the design work for me.

Oh yeah, I voted on the poll and I drive my friends crazy because I save every little scrap. It hurts me to just toss out pieces of my precious craft supplies. :o)

I voted in your poll. (I love your polls!!) You know me and my scraps... I have a whole folder for them!!!
I'm off to play catch-up to yesterday and today's sketch!!!

Good Morning Angel!

Yes, I did vote:
I SAVE & USE ALL MY SCRAPS ON ALL MOST EVERY CARD.

As a matter of fact, some of my best creations are out of scraps.

And, when I do a project in a group, the girls give me their scraps cause they know I'll put them to good use!

Your card is so pretty Angel. I really like this sketch. I took a minute to vote...I occasionally use scraps, I keep the larger ones. (I used to keep every little thing, but I found I didn't use it, so...)
Happy Wednesday!

Hi Angel, pretty card. I love paper piercing. Just voted in your poll. I save ALL scraps; if I don't use them in cards or scrapbook pages, I use them on classroom projects. This is a most amazing countdown you are putting on! Starting to unpack boxes after relocation; should be able to pull out craft stuff by this weekend to start making cards again. Your sketches will be fun to try; thanks for sharing your cards and giving us ideas to try with the sketches.

Fabulous job with your card! Great sketch! I'm loving all the piercing!

I save all my scraps. . .even the smallest pieces. . .if it's big enough to punch with any of my punchers, it goes into the scrap pile. I have 3 years worth of scraps.

Look at you!!! 31 days of Angelosity and google ads, you are going high tech on me... :) I miss you!

I love it when you itemized what you have in your goodie bag! it reminded me of the Christmas song the 12 days of Christmas! lol.

I did your poll. I used to save all my scraps but I never use them! so now I punch what I can then through them out! then I have the punched tags or scallops away :)

Rachel V. said...

I voted in the poll. I tend to keep most of the scraps unless they are way too tiny or if I'm feeling generous I give them to dd to use in her projects.

Still loving all the sketches...I did use Sketch #5 tonight, but I'm too tired to upload it. LOL

I voted and saved all the cyber scraps for later.

I voted and yes, I do save most of my scraps and use them quite frequently on my cards. I always check my scraps before I cut into a full sheet of paper.

I, too, voted. I only wish I used as many scraps as I save. I'm pretty good, but would love to see more projects using scraps. I hope you're upcoming birthday is as happy as my just-past birthday was. Thanks for letting me play along!

I used to keep ALL of my scraps, but it was TOO much. Now I only keep little scraps of my favorite papers and big scraps of everything else. Great blog, by the way!
