Now that my month of sketches is over, I am excited to be able to do some other sketches. And Beate's Weekend Sketch is always a great time!
And of course I couldn't wait to play with my CHF set Pretty Birds- a gift from SWEET Lori!
My bird is paper pieced because as Lori pointed out to me how easily Kim Hughes designs are to cut out, mask or paper piece. SO easy! And Kevin suggested mounting all of the papers to one corner. I like the effect!

well, there you go, Angel! I just today made a card with the papers all mounted to the bottom right corner ... too dark out to take a proper pic so it'll be uploaded later this weekend! Love yours ... and the pretty paper-pieced birdy.
