A Second Card and Butterfly Kisses.....OH MY!

Two posts in one day? I can't believe it myself, but here I am. I couldn't wait to show you this card. I was so inspired by the color challenge at Splitcoast this week. The colors to use are Bravo Burgundy, Regal Rose and Old Olive. They came across to me as "homey" and I think my card shows that inspiration. Once again, I've picked up "Lift up Our Hands" from Our Daily Bread Designs. Did you know they carry Ornare piercing templates? I've used one on my design here. I love piercing and I find that it is usually the perfect touch when you think your card is "missing something". I inked the main image in Regal Rose and added the Olive and Burgundy colors directly to the stamp using a sponge. I love the effect!
I say 2 cards in one day calls for a celebration. What do you think? Blog Candy Time... I call it Butterfly Kisses! I've got an extra "Lift up Our Hands" set just waiting to go to a new home. Want it? How about 3 pretty white crocheted flowers (like the one I've used here) to go with it? Just leave me a comment on this post and I will draw a random winner sometime on Wednesday, January 28th. In your comment, please tell me your new favorite stamping accessory! That's it!
Hope you're having a BLESSED day!

Oooh...two cards in one day! This one is simply gorgeous Angel! I really like the colors you chose and how you colored the hands. And the crocheted flowers are lovely! My favorite stamping accessory? Just one?! Probably my Fiskars Treading Water Punch. It's certainly a favorite. Thanks for the chance at the stamps. It's a beautiful set!

Your card are just amazing with this set. Wow all of them are so creative and inspiring. My favorite new accessory would have to be my SU scallop punch. I've been really good and trying not to buy to many things and use what I have. :( But hopefully that will chance soon. :) Thanks so much for a chance at this fabulous set.

I use my cuttlebug on most cards. I don't have a lot of folders, but between what I have and my nesties, that machine gets a lot of use.

What a beautiful card ~ I love the crocheted flowers and the piercing. I actually popped over to your blog from ODBD and I was looking at non other than those ornare templates ~ I just need to figure out which is the absolute must have to get first.

My favorite new stamping accessory...well, it's not new, (but then again, I haven't gotten many new things recently) but lately I seem to have been using stickles an awful lot so I will go with that.

Thanks for the chance to win.

This card is so beautiful! Great job! I would have to say that my newest embellishment obsession is using jewelry filigrees or spacers on primas!! I've seen it on so many European blogs so I had to try it myself! Thanks for a chance to win.

Angel,
Love the card and the Our Daily Bread set. I'd love to win it.

Hmmm, my favorite new stamping accessory? I'd have to vote for my Cuttlebug. I've had it about 6 months now, so it's not all that new, but I sure use it alot.

Thanks for sharing your talent,

Niki

I love your card - this is made with one of my favorite ODBD sets that I have been drooling over! The Abe Lincoln quote on this set really gets me! I am also interested in getting some of the Ornare templates, as I too love the little extra touch and texture that the piercing adds.

I live in Perry, GA and have been looking for some local stamping buddies. Please email me if you know of any local groups. I sure miss Happy Scrapper and the community of having an LSS.
