RED Day

After today, things will hopefully go a little more smoothly! You can expect a sketch to appear first thing in the morning and a post a little while later with my sample and a pic of the prizes being added to the basket.
Today I have 3 cards to share! That is quite amazing as I'm usually good for one card a day. I admire those stampers who pop them out like machines. That's just not the way I roll I guess. :-)
I pulled out a packet of paper I got last year. It's from Rusty Pickle and is their "Snowflakes and Mittens" line. I was so inspired by
Laura who's been making these fabulous Weekend Sketch Sets, that I decided to try a set of cards myself. I only got 3 done to show you today.
The first is made from Beate's sketch from a couple of weeks ago...
WSC61. I liked this sketch so filed it away to try and here I am. I am not excited about my card and even less excited about the photo...but here it is. The mitten is covered with fun flock and the Merry Christ Mas is also flocked... it's a touchy feely card. :-)

This next card is last week's sketch on Splitcoast...SC198. The same paper set, I promise. My daughter said it looked like a baby card. I think I know just the person to send it to though.

The last card is my sketch today... RDOA (Rainbow Days of Angelosity). The card size is 3x6. This card size is so fun to play with and is made by folding a quarter of a 12x12 sheet in half. And Stampin Up sells envelopes to fit. My card uses a retired SU set- Snowflakes for the background. The smaller flakes are stamped in the card color- Old Olive and the larger flake is stamped in Versamark and embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. The same Rusty Pickle papers where used for the background strip. You'll see more with these papers from me this week!

Last but not least, 7 red items to go in the prize basket:

~a red tin mailbox
~a container full of red buttons
~a small vial of red flock
~7 flocked Merry Christmas sentiments (as seen on my WSC card)
~3 ribbons (1 yd of SU red/white checkered, 1 spool of xoxo Ribbon Trends ribbon, and 1 yd of 3/8" red organdy)
~ 2 each- scored cards of 3 different colors of red- Rose Red, Real Red, Ruby Red
~ a roll of RED tacky tape

Blessings to you~
Angel
