Gold Cross

I hope you're having a fabulous weekend wherever you are! I plan on relaxing this weekend and getting my husband to de-stress. He's worked so hard the last couple of weeks without a day off. It's time to baby him!
With that in mind, I'm going to make this short and sweet!
This simple card really looks rich in real life with the gold embossed cross from Flourished Christian Symbols on a small piece of this fabulous "True Faith" gold embossed vellum (also found at Our Daily Bread). The card base is Paper Trey White..is there any other white for card bases? I scored a few lines with my Scor Pal to make a frame for my focal point. The scoring was a challenge from Caardvarks!
That's it!
See ya Monday!

I just moved, again, last Wednesday. Today I visited a "cowboy church". They dress in jeans, pants, shirts, T's whatever and you are greeted at the gate by riders on horseback who hand out the Sunday programs. When I managed the ranch years ago, this concept was a baby and there were services held in our arena bleachers. I was one of the greeters on horseback! It is all over the TX area now especially in rural areas where there are large horse sports events held. I love it. What reminded me was that this golden cross was like the one above the door into their sanctuary. It was the only "pretty" item on the outside of that portable building. But the inside and the people were "beautiful" if you know what I mean. God was there! Amen. Linda Crowder

Such a beautful card and the gold embossing makes it so elegant! I finally bought the Scor-Pal and now I don't know how I went so long without it.
Thank you for the compliment on my stair-step fold. After the first time you do it, it becomes super easy the next time around so go for it. I can't wait to see what you make!

This is just beautiful! I love the gold and white, simple yet elegant. I didn't see this in the gallery at Caardvarks. Double check though, I may have missed it.
