Day 11

Are you playing along or are you just lurking around? Come on, give it a shot and start playing the game. There's sure a lot of loot to be won! Here are the rules in case you've been under a rock somewhere. (wink)
Today's Challenge is a sketch. I am trying to make the sketches pretty simple so anybody can do them. And you don't have to make a card. Be creative!
I'll be back in a bit with my sample!
~Angel
Today's "Getting to Know you" Question:
Do you have a quirk? Or maybe a pet-peeve you'd like to share?

Good morning, Angel! One of my pet peeves is one related to driving: people who don't signal when they want to turn. My biggest quirk: talking outloud to myself. I do it all the time; the cat even thinks I'm talking to him! Have a great day, and thanks for the sketch.

Hi Angel!

A big pet peeve of mine is when people talk on their cell phones in restaurants!

My pet peeve is poor grammar on signs for the public to see. I once called our local Dairy Queen to tell them they had used the wrong "your" and they fixed it.

My quirk is DH's pet peeve - I can't go to sleep unless the covers are straightened out first. I wake him to fix the blankets if he is in bed before me. And now DS is showing this same quirk!! Thanks :)

If someone comes up to my window at work and their cellphone rings and they answer it.
makes me want to take a hammer to it. why would you come to see someone about your check and then answer the blankityblank phone.

I agree with the cell phone "mis-use!" It really bugs me when people talk with food in their mouths! AUGH!!!

Here's my card for day 11!!

My biggest pet peeve is when people have an issue with you and they go behind your back instead of just coming directly to you. It happens at work all the time and makes me crazy!!!! I have MANY quirks, let's see what should I share....I have to keep my closet in ROYGBIV order (tops and bottoms seperated). All the reds are together, blues, etc. My DH thinks I'm nuts. I explained that since I'm so NOT a morning person it helps me get dressed quicker. :o)

Pet peave - drivers that drive below the speed limit and getting stuck in traffic not moving especially on the expressway.

My quirk is I like to have everything symmetrical in my home. It looks wrong to me if it's not!

My pet peeve has to do with cell phone use too--especially while driving and at stores.

I would never lurk!! :)

One of my pet peeves is people who talk really loud - I think they do it for attention. Really, I do not need to hear them complain on their cell phone while I sit in the dentist office. And while I feel sorry for people that do that because they must not have someone to listen that truly cares, I still don't like to hear it.

hugs, Jami

Hi Angel,
One of my pet peeves is people using cell phones (walkie talkie) type and talk so loud and have the volume up so loud you hear the other person also. This just is not necessary.
I am having carpal tunnel surgery tomorrow so won't get to participate in any more challenges (what a bummer) but I will still be lurking around. Thanks for all you so. Blessings to you and to your friend you are sending the card to.

Hi Angel,
My pet peeve and quirk are tied up together:

My quirk is that the toilet lid (as well as the seat) have to be down when the toilet flushes, I have the biggest phobia about the toilet water! I freak out in public bathrooms where there is no lid!!
My husband complained about this when we both got married but I tld him that if we're both putting the lid down it's equal work, we both have to pick something up and put something down
That being said my pet peeve is when people who don't realise leave the lid up, I freak out the next time i walk into the bathroom and see it.
I have to fight very hard not to get mad at them!

I guess you could say mine is cell phone related! People using them when they are driving ...hazards just waiting to happen! :-(

My biggest pet peeve is when someone tells me the same story about 10 times (I have a coworker who got married about 2 weeks ago and that's all I have heard about!)

Lately my pet peeves have to do with drivers. Doesn't anyone know how to use their blinkers correctly?? LOL!

I am afraid that I am a lurker right now with your contests. I just found your contest today and am trying to play catch up. I have a quirk. I chew on the ends of my pens. It drives my hubby crazy. He always knows which pens are mine though. LOL

My pet peeve? People who whine, complain or blame others for situations or things that they have the ability, power and intelligence to change or stop...like they are hooked on stress and calamity or something. I just don't get it.

My biggest pet peeve has to be listening to hubby complain about how people drive while he does the exact same thing!!! Drives me insane!

A couple of pet peeves are people who think they KNOW more than you do and also people who use improper grammar/spelling on websites or blogs.I've even seen words spelled wrong on layouts in magazines!!! The horror!!! :o)
