Headache, Headache, Go Away....

I am just TOO easily affected by stress. I've been suffering from headaches recently. I have awakened with them nearly every day for the last week it seems. Today I have just not been able to get rid of one. Any easy home remedies? I am willing to try! So far I have rested, taken Excedrin, tried caffeine, used my aromatherapy roll-on from Bath & Body Works and prayed. The headache persists. Arghh........
No stamping for me today.

Hey!
I recieved your comment. Thank you so much for the compliment. I don't mind if you add me to your list.

I wish I could help with the headache situation besides just share what has helped me. I have to stay away from caffine all to gether. And I watch my sugar intake (no sugar substitutes either). And during allergy seasons use a Neti pot to wash out my sinuses every few days. (the warm water always sooths my sinus & headaches). HTH Besides that your in my prayers, this is always the best solution for healing I've found anyway.

Hi Angel,

I deal with this all the time...this is a trick my physical therapist shared with me - take 2 tennis balls and place them in a sock. Lay down on the floor and position the tennis balls underneath the top of your shoulder near your neck - do for 5 minutes. Next, position the tennis ball at the base of your head - do for 5 minutes - next position the tennis balls at the center of the back of your head - do for 5 minutes. If this does not give you any relief - get yourself sheduled for a 1 hour full body massage! :-)

I'm sorry to hear about ur headaches...Try peppermint tea for one...peppermint oil work swell too... just a sniff or two, but the best thing is a drop of peppermint oil on ur temples that should take some of it away!
Hope that helps! It always works for me!

Hey girl, for me, quiet-time reading God's word and giving up control and stress to him. We often times hold on to a little piece of control, not giving it all up to the Lord. Recently I had tooth pain, shoulder pain, and heel pain overwhelming me. Asking God to take this from me, before getting out of bed in the a.m. has worked for me. He wants us to pray without ceasing and bring everything to him. I don't feel I want to do this on my own. Take care!
