Tornadoes

Doesn't it seem like tornadoes are more frequent than ever before? My younger son Brian is spending the summer touring the country on one of his school's camp teams. He called this morning to check in. He was the one who told me about the Manhattan, Kansas tornadoes.
Jake, Megan and their puppy, Trixie took shelter last night as tornadoes tore through their little town. Jake said a hardware store 2 blocks away was totaled. More news on the local newspaper's website reports that $20 million dollars of damage was done on K State's campus alone which is directly across the street from Manhattan Christian College where my two sons and daughter-in-law are all enrolled. I'm very thankful my children are all safe and I pray for those who have been affected by this devastation. May God carry you through the storm.

Hi Angel, It's me, Lori Patrick. I was just on line checking out info on the Manhattan Tornado, in particular MCC, when I happened upon your page. How have u been? We get to see Brian every once in awhile at Countryside. He looks great. Not sure if u knew but our oldest son Craig has been living in Georgia since Sept. He is a youth minister down there. I thought I heard that u were moving to SC. Are u already there? Well anyway I just wanted to say "Hello". Take care. Lori
