Fact #37

I have a bad back.
My back pain began in 2001. I was diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease and a ruptured disc (T-8/T-9).

My injury area is thoracic which is unusual and poses a unique situation. So until the pain gets completely out of hand, I continue on.
I think I have tried just about every treatment possible excluding surgery.
Me and Hubby have gone through numerous bottles of BioFreeze. He has a bad back too.

I'm so sorry to hear about your back - I hope the pain can become more manageable for you.

I'm there with you with the back pain! although mine isn't as bad, it still sucks! I have an extruded disc. The good news is the vertebra are so thickened by arthritis that the disc can't hit the nerve. The bad news is, it still hurts due to the arthritis. Thank goodness for the biofreeze, as it really does help, doesn't it?

Angel;
Are you sure we aren't related in some way???? Everytime I read your entries for the "100 posts about yourself" they could be mine. I can't believe how many things we have in common. I too have a bad back and can sympathize with you. Mine began in 1991 from a car accident and I have never healed from it. I'm sorry to read about your back. Back pain is never fun! What is biofreeze? I have tried everything out there too!

When the back goes ohhhh my the pain is unbelievable, I am supposed to excercise to strengthen the back & hip, but can't always find the time. Thank you & take care.

I would love to know what biofreeze is. Pls email me at bluemoonbynite at yahoo dot com. I have too much experience with this topic, as my mom is in poor shape with this and has had surgery, and I have a back that pops out, but now have deg in the neck and arthritis starting.
I hope your back feels better. It's crummy, because it holds you up, lets you do things, etc. or not!! Thanks a ton, glad you wrote this. :) I believe sharing our experiences brings help, knowledge to others. Thanks a ton!
