I was blurfing yesterday when I ran across Jen's challenge. Looked like fun so I made a card using her sketch.
Card Recipe:
Stamps~ Wonderful Words, Print Pattern
Ink~ Sahara Sand, Regal Rose, White Craft
Paper~ Sahara Sand, Provo Craft Super Slab 9 (By Karen Mieux)
Accessories~ MM clip and brads and pop dots
I faux embossed the sentiment using my Stampamajig for placement.
(Julie has a tutorial on this technique here.) It looks a bit blurry in the pic, but it really isn't. For the background, I inked up my Print Pattern stamps with Sahara Sand ink and then sponged on some Regal Rose ink to bring in the pink.
I've got a few more challenges I want to try if I have time today. AND I've got more birthday cards to share. But first things first and that means housework! Ugh!
Have a great Wednesday!
Blessings~
Angel

Aloha Angel!! I love your card! It doesn't look blurry one bit! Infact, when I looked at it - I was like...wow! It looks embossed!!! Then I read, and sure enough saw that you faux embossed it. Love it....
