WooHoo! I am so excited about the countdown! I've never counted down to my birthday before. And what better way to do it, than with you all? If you missed yesterday's post you may want to go back and read it to get all of the 4-1-1! In a nutshell, I am posting a sketch a day and a card until my birthday. If you comment daily, you'll have 31 chances of winning the set of 31 cards. If you play along with the sketches, you'll be entered to win the grand prize. I may also have a few other ways during the month to get your name in the pot for the grand prize, so watch my blog! The grand prize will grow every day until the 7th of November. So, here we go!
Today I started out with Sketch #1. Katie and I tried our best making these sketches so don't laugh! I think we did okay actually. I am sure we'll get better! I am hoping that all of my sketches will be fairly simple. So, even if you're a beginner, I think you can do it!
I used only one stamp on my card and that is the "Love" from Hope Is. I think this card would make a nice anniversary card. I'll have to come back and give you details later. I need to get ready for church here pretty soon.
Remember, to win the cards you need to comment on the actual day of the post for your name to go into the hat that day.
These eyelets will go into the prize box. To be be entered to win this box, you have to make a card using today's sketch and post it somewhere. Then comment on this post with a link. If you don't have a blog or gallery, email me the picture of your creation. But come back here and comment so I'll be sure to include you. You can make as many different cards with this sketch as you want. And you can do it at anytime within this month!
IF you have any questions, just let me know.
Yes, you can make scrapbook layouts using this sketch!! And yes, they will count.

That sketch looks ok to me. I might end up using it on a layout since I'm not really read to make cards at the moment.
