I needed some Sympathy cards this week. I wish I didn't.
It did help me get my mind off things a little while I was making them. But, they ended up being so frilly, I'm just not sure what to think. I usually try to make my sympathy cards pretty simple with few embellishments. As you can see, that didn't happen here.
I used Taylor's Weekly Cupcake Sketch to start me off. A fabulous sketch. Definitely a keeper! As you can see, the second card is a little different. I went with a Thinking of You in case I decided to make a more subdued Sympathy card later.
It's really beginning to sink in that March will be a very busy month. There is lots going on for me and lots of fun stuff planned as Our Daily Bread Designs celebrates their one year birthday. We'll start the fun next week, so stick around!

Beautiful cards! I still think they are simple because the colors are all in the same family.
These are both beautiful!! That embossing folder is perfect with those papers - and the lace under the bow is so pretty!! I'm so sorry you are needing sympathy cards. {hugs}

I think these are both very lovely and will bring a smile to the receiver! The soft colors are very nice and the pearls, ribbon and lace are very classy. :)
