Two posts in one day? I can't believe it myself, but here I am. I couldn't wait to show you this card. I was so inspired by the color challenge at Splitcoast this week. The colors to use are Bravo Burgundy, Regal Rose and Old Olive. They came across to me as "homey" and I think my card shows that inspiration.
Once again, I've picked up "Lift up Our Hands" from Our Daily Bread Designs. Did you know they carry Ornare piercing templates? I've used one on my design here. I love piercing and I find that it is usually the perfect touch when you think your card is "missing something". I inked the main image in Regal Rose and added the Olive and Burgundy colors directly to the stamp using a sponge. I love the effect!
I say 2 cards in one day calls for a celebration. What do you think? Blog Candy Time... I call it Butterfly Kisses! I've got an extra "Lift up Our Hands" set just waiting to go to a new home.

ReplyDeleteI love your card - this is made with one of my favorite ODBD sets that I have been drooling over! The Abe Lincoln quote on this set really gets me! I am also interested in getting some of the Ornare templates, as I too love the little extra touch and texture that the piercing adds.
