Featuring.... My Friend!

Have you heard of the "Featured Stamper Challenge" at Splitcoast? Every Sunday a stamper is selected and we are all given permission to browse their gallery and select a card to CASE (if I am correct that means Copy And Steal Everything in stamper terminology). I don't believe I have ever participated in this particular challenge at Splitcoast. Mainly because it falls on a Sunday and I am not usually stamping on a Sunday. BUT, this week's featured stamper happens to be a good friend of mine. I happen to know (and adore) her personally! I had to play along. I chose this card in Lori Craig's (stamp_momma) gallery! The challenge rules ask you to change at least 2 things on the card. I used Lori's layout, but went with a different cross set and scripture. The chocolate cardstock color and these SU "Outlaw" papers just reminded me of Lori. She's married to a cowboy, you know!
The cross from one of the new January ODBD releases fit this sketch perfectly. The set is called "He is Risen" and you'll want it for sure!
I'm keeping it short and sweet as I have more stamping to do. Who knows? I may be back with more to show you today!
Have a blessed day!
~Angel

Oh - what a fun card!!! Love that outlaw paper - and I might be married to a cowboy, but he's an outlaw today!! LOL! J/K - I love your card, Angel. Love that cross - Wes actually has a necklace like that cross that he wears, and a 2nd one that hangs from his rear view mirror. :) Thanks for stamping! I adore you, too!

Very handsome card Angel! I like how you used the linen thread as if to hold the nails together.

This is gorgeous Angel!! Love the colors and that Outlaw paper!! And seeing it is a reminder - I had a card picked out of Lori's to play in that challenge and got sidetracked...
hugs, Jami
