Reason for the Season

Jesus is the reason for the season.

I remember when I first heard this statement. That year almost everyone in my office had a pin that said those words! I still have mine! It's such a very true statement! AND it is the name of one of Our Daily Bread Designs' newest sets to be released October 1st!

I started out with this sketch from Taylor in mind. But, I didn't check the sketch as I was working so you see I strayed a bit. No worries. It's still a Christmas card and I can still send it!
(You should know- I computer generated my own "Jesus" for the oval as the one in the set was too large for the shape.)
TWO more days to vote and to enter to win this Halloween stash! Spread the word!
Have a great day!

This stamp is so lovely and out of the ordinary for Christmas. I'm not too much into all the religious stuff, but something I learned was the real meaning of Christmas.
