I knew as soon as I received this ODBD "Angel" set in the mail that I wanted to paper piece this angel's dress. If you aren't familiar with paper piecing, it's quite simple. You stamp your image on a piece of decorative paper and cut out the part of the image you want to have that design. Still confused? Here is a great step by step tutorial!
I wanted a scripture on my card, but ran out of room, so I stamped the verse onto a piece of a transparency (overhead projector) sheet and placed it on top of the angel adhering it at the corners (under the corner punches). It's hard to tell in the picture, but the angel's wings are shiny and sparkly as I used a Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll pen on them.
Thank you for visiting me today!
Have a great weekend!

This is beautiful, Angel!! I love the colors and paper piecing!!
What a very, very cute card!! Love it!! I was at Michael's (in very rural NY state) yesterday looking for Halloween stamps but did not come across these witch feet -- I absolutely love them!! If you come across another one, would you get one for me, too? My daughters and sisters would get a fun "hoot" out of receiving a card like this one!! Great job, Angel! ~Amy S.~
