Meeting a Friend

Quite some time ago I stumbled onto a wonderful blog by a VERY talented and crafty designer- Amy Sheffer. Pickled Paper Designs always has the coolest cards and I try to check in daily. I am not sure when I realized that Amy lived quite close to my friend Peggy. But I just couldn't wait to meet her and we were actually able to meet this trip.Amy was so very sweet. I felt like I already knew her so well and and the time passed quickly away as we chatted like old friends.
She showed me some Copic tricks she recently learned in a local class. I'd started buying my own Copics one at a time with my Hobby Lobby coupons. I'm anxious to get more now so I can practice my recently acquired "skills".

Here is the card I finally completed today with the image I colored at Amy's house:Card Recipe:
Stamps~ Baby Buttercup (Stamping Bella); Noteworthy (SU)
Ink~ Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko), Gable Green, Palette Black Noir
Paper~ PaperTrey SS White, Pretty in Pink, The Paper Studio DP- Bella Pink Scroll
Accessories~ Cloud Scissors, corner rounder, ribbons, Copics, 2 way glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds glitter

Thank you so much for letting me spend the afternoon with you, Amy!

What a beautiful card! I enjoy Amy's blog and creations; I think it would be so neat to meet in person stampers who I know only by reading their blogs and seeing their cards and art online. Sounds like an absolute wonderful day. TFS.

Angel;
That's very cool you discovered you lived near one another and were able to meet. If only we lived in the same country! LOL. Beautiful card, I love the glitter you added - it makes the image so much more beautiful.
