Fact #96

I like to watch nature, especially birds.

Hubby and I bought a bird bath and a few bird feeders we keep stocked in suet for in the back of our house. And we get lots of different kinds of birds out here. Cardinals, bluebirds, blue jays, robins, morning doves and woodpeckers make our tree a regular stop. It's fun to watch and listen to them.

That's one of my favorite past times Angel. I could sit for hours just watching the birds in behind our house. The only bird that I don't really care for are crows!
Hubby is supposed to make me a birdhouse ~ still waiting on that! LOL

yesterday on the railroad tracks I had to keep stopping because there were so many pretty birds and they all sang a different song for me to stop and listen to!

I discivered the joy of birds in my mid-twenties, when I noticed Mourning Doves nesting in our Blue Spruce. I watched with binoculars as they nested, eggs hatched, and one day they were gone. We get Mourning Doves every year now, and I feel blessed that they choose our tree to nest in.
