Valentine Treats

I wanted to make some Valentine treats for my Bible study group girls. Since we are the "Hawaii" group I wanted them in bright colors. I had some SU Patterned papers from a few years ago that filled the bill so I started there. I remembered Cambria's post last week sharing the cutest Ghirardelli Chocolate boxes so that's what I made. I really like how they turned out and the girls liked them too! Here are a few pics.

"Recipe"~
Stamps: Words of Wisdom
Ink: Palette Noir Black
Paper: Real Red, Only Orange, Green Galore & Pink Passion, SU DP
Accessories: Cuttlebug flowers and tags, White grosgrain ribbon, assorted punches, primas and brads

The measurements for the “Ghirardelli Chocolate” box are:
Card stock cut at: 4 1/4 x 7 3/8S
core the long side at:
2-1/4
2-5/8
4-7/8
5-1/4
Score in from each short side at:
¾”
3/8”
Cut all the way down to the first score line from the short side on the 3/4 score line. Then cut from the side so you have a big T shaped, cutting off small tabs. Fold up, add your pretties and you are done.

Awesome tutorial!! Ghirardelli is my favorite chocolate!! That's the only thing I miss about not working....there was a lady that kept a full bowl of it at her desk for all of us!!

Angel, these are so bright and pretty. Just love them! Thanks for the directions; I think I'll make some to put either Easter or birthday treats in. Now that I've relocated out of state, I'm always looking for fun ways to send goodies back to my college/young adult kids.
