Opportunities

I recently received an email from my blog friend Kelly, who asked me to be a part of her new adventure- Sharing the Journey Faithbooking. Of course I said yes since this seemed like another excellent opportunity to share my faith. And isn't that what it is all about? I decided to create a card to go along with my introduction and testimony on Kelly's site.
Card Recipe:
Stamps~ none
Ink~ none
Paper~ Kraft and Black CS; Reminders of Faith Vellum scripture; Blue/Green DP-The Paper Studio Antique Brocade; Bird-Stemma Victorian DP (Target)
Accessories~ Paper Distresser, Rub-Ons-Art Warehouse

I started with the February sketch from Am I A Scrap Addict.

But that brings me to another opportunity! You may have already noticed my "Am I A Scrap Addict?" blinkie on the sidebar. I'm now a part of Deanne's new design team! I think this venture will give me a chance to see if designing is 'for me'. I've been exploring that avenue a bit, but have held back from "charging forward" so to speak. This will be a great chance to examine the prospect with little stress! Wish me luck!
Have a great day!

First off, thank you for visiting my blog!! And second, congratulations on your recent DT and faithbooking announcements! Sounds exciting!

I noticed your Jericho shoutout in your sidebar, I love that show...but I think only because of the Terri Blackstock books...lol. Have you read her Restoration Novels??? They were published shortly before Jericho's first season aired and they follow the same story line only from a spiritual aspect, not a "somebody bombed us" aspect...lol. If you like Jericho you should check out those books, they are awesome!

Angel;
I love this card you made for the Sharing the Journey blog. Thanks so much for sharing the news of the blog on your blog. I do hope that many women will come and share their testimonies on the blog. I just made two cards because I was inspired by your scripture chicks cards. I'm not sure how to maneuver through the Splitcoast Stampers site. I would love to be apart of that club if that is possible.
Well, thanks again Angel.
God bless
Kelly
