"Shabby Chic"

I almost forgot about Beate's Weekend Sketch. And here it is Tuesday! But, I did remember and here's my card. Beate is the queen of tutorials. I can always understand them. She just knows how to say it right. This file folder card tutorial was no different. I've been wanting to do one of these for a couple of years now. So, I definitely didn't want to skip this challenge.
I chose My Mind's Eye's Tres Jolie double-sided paper "Oui Oui" to begin with. And going along the French theme I pulled out "Carte Postale". I wanted swirls so I also used "Priceless" and got just the look I was going for? Whatcha think
?
Card Recipe~
Stamps: Carte Postale, Priceless, Jumbo Wheel- So Swirly
Ink: Soft Sky, Mellow Moss, Blue Bayou
Paper: MME- Tres Jolie, Textured Soft Sky, Vanilla
Accessories: Tab punch, prima, K & Co. Adhesive Rhinestones pearl, vintage lace
Don't forget about my "It's Gotta be Pink" blog candy in yesterday's post! And if you haven't heard about the Treasure Hunt at Cornish Heritage Farms- you really must go check it out! What Fun!
I'll be back tomorrow with another of Sara's Sketches! I'm down to a few left!
I feel like stampin', BUT I better go make Taco Salad instead!
Blessings~
Angel
