A Joyful Noise

Recently I was blessed to be the winner of a background stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms. It's the only CHF stamp that I own.... partly because (well, completely because) I am on a bit of a spending freeze right now. They have some wonderful new designs coming out though so I am going to have to use much restraint!
The background stamp I now own is the Music Background. Of course it's a large stamp and came with the foam mount. Thanks to a tip from my friend Lori (a design team member for CHF!) I learned that all I needed to do was take one of my many SU background stamps and temporarily place the CHF stamp on the reverse side (kinda like a rubber sandwich with the wood in between) and use it like that. I didn't even need the large acrylic block I was thinking I needed! Way cool!
Card Recipe~ Card size is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4
Stamps: All God's Children, CHF Music Backgrounder
Ink: Palette Noir Black Ink, Old Olive, Purely Pomegranate, Craft White, Soft Sky
Paper: Old Olive, Purely Pomegranate, whisper White
Accessories: Blender Pen (w/ink pad lids to watercolor), Black marker to doodle frame, Sponge, Paper Piercer, White primas, silver mini brads, SU Cutter kit
I used Sara's Sketch #24 for this card. That leaves me 3 to go. Yeah! I'll be sad when I am finished. I loved having a plan. So, be sure to let me know if you've found some great sketches or challenges (besides SCS- I always check those out!).
Have a great day, friends!
I feel like stampin'!
Blessings~
Angel
