Day 8 in the 31 Days of Angelosity!

Good morning, friends! How is everyone today? All is well here, except for the fact that I have less than one week until the ball I am going to and no mice to make me a dress! Where does one find a nice formal gown? I am taking my friend Shelley with me tomorrow to look, not only for a second opinion, but also because she is the queen of bargain hunters!! Hopefully we'll find a dress. I have never been to anything formal. Yikes!
On to today's sketch! I was sketching cards the other day and looking for ideas while we were watching TV. (I like to multi-task...makes me feel productive.) Anyway, I handed my sketch pad to hubby and he drew a sketch! So, this one is an original Kevin sketch! I've got another one too, but I'll spread them out a bit. For some reason, this one wasn't exactly easy for me, but since I love paisley, I like how it turned out. heeheehee
Here is your sketch!

Number 8 already!

Don't forget to come back and add a link to your card should you decide to play!

And here is the card!

Card Recipe:
Stamps~ Words of Wisdom, Paisley background
Ink~ Choc Chip, Pretty in Pink
Paper~ Pretty in Pink, Choc Chip, US Vanilla, Shimmery White, DP from SU Prints Sampler
Accessories~ Cutter Kit, Primas, brad by PaperMania

And what am I adding to the treasure box today? We have 24 days left until my birthday. How old am I? Hmm.... Tell you what... that's what you can comment about today. Take a guess. The first person to guess how old I will be on Nov 7th correctly will get an RAK from me! All of you will still be included in the draw for all 31 cards this month.
So today, I add 24 quotes!

I love using quotes on my cards! Vellum, card stock, DP... it doesn't matter. I love a good quote. So here I have cut out 24 different ones for you!
Recapping:
31 Shaped Eyelets
30 Decorative Brads
29 Envelopes
28 Colorful Buttons
27 Glittery Chipboard Letters
26 eyelets
25 Punches and Die cuts
AND
24 Quotes

I better get ready for church. We're going out to lunch with friends afterwards. I hope you all have a great Sunday!
~Angel

I'm not very good at guessing age even when I know the person. I'll take a guess. 39??

It's difficult to tell from your picture, so I won't embarrass myself...lol.

Your card is very pretty! Great sketch!

Ok... If I post your real age, will you get mad? (38) Unless my counting is wrong! I think I remember what bible study we were doing when you turned 33 (the same age as Jesus~during the study, that is) but I can't remember exactly what year that was... (was it before or after Riley?)

I think that since Kevin did this sketch he should do a card, too!!! That would be a card to frame!!!! Don't ya think??? I'd love to see a Kevin original to go along with the original Kevin sketch!

Way to go hubby...great sketch!! My guess is 37, although it really doesn't matter how old you are! Just celebrate with JOY for the rest of the journey!

For a formal- if you have a David's Bridal in town go there. They have formal wear in all colors and for a great price.

Yeah Kevin, great sketch.

I have to buy gowns all the time. Macy's usually has nice ones and good deals sometimes. Thanks for sharing the love girl! You are on my blogroll :)

Your card turned out great! It's so soft and pretty. The sketch does look challenging though. I'm going to take a guess at your age...with it being the 31 days of Angelosity, I'd say 31, but I know you have a son that recently got married, so I'm going to guess 40.
